Here are questions that we are often asked by customers. If the answer you are looking for isn't shown then please contact us.

Q. Do you ship to non UK addresses?

A. We send to most European destinations as well as USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The full list of countries we ship to will appear at the checkout procedure.

Q. Which payment methods do you accept?

A.  We take credit and debit card payments through PayPal. Probably the safest way of making online payments. You can also currently send us a cheque made payable to 'IDEAL TAGS'

Q. How long does my order take to be dispatched?

A. Orders are normally sent within 2 working days for instant PayPal payments. Very often it's the next working day. Cheques and PayPal e-cheque payments will need to be cleared before goods are dispatched which can take up to 10 working days. 

Q. What are your postage charges?

A. It's our policy to keep postage costs to a minimum so ID tags and some other lightweight items are dispatched post free. Heavier items are calculated at checkout and will never be more than £4.50. We sometimes have a promotion whereby we do free postage on everything, so best to keep an eye on our website.

Q. How will I know if the items I've ordered are in stock?

A. It's highly unlikely that anything you order will be out of stock as our website has an automated stock check and should not be shown as available. Should a product slip through this system and be out of stock we would contact you offering the choice of a refund, for that item, or to place it on backorder, sending it out as soon as we receive new stock.

Q. Can I collect my goods in person?

A. Yes you are welcome to collect your order from our premises but please make prior arrangements with us by phoning 01284 728844.

Q. What should I have engraved on my pet tag is there a law?

A. There is a legal requirement regarding ID tags for dogs in the UK and details can be found under all of our ID tag product descriptions but basically it's a minimum legal requirement of owner's name, house number (or name) and postcode. All other details are optional. As for cats and other small pets there is no legal stipulation.
