Anodised aluminium medium slide-on collar dog ID tag measuring 43mm x 22mm. These good quality pet identity tags are currently available in 2 colours. The maximum size of collar for passing through tag slits is 18mm wide x 3mm thickness.

Using our computerised pet tag engraving machne all tags are engraved in plain text capitals for clarity. Large slide-on collar tags will take up to 5 lines of engraving but the more text there is the smaller it will be. It's a case of less is better. There is little point having a dog ID tag where the text is too small for most people to read.

Legal requirements

It is law for all dogs to have an ID tag attached to their collar when in public areas, even if they've been microchipped. The tag should display, as a minimum legal requirement, owner's name, house number (or name) and postcode. Any other information is optional but we would always suggest a phone number.
