About IDeal Tags

IDeal Tags consist of a husband and wife team with Allen undertaking engraving and marketing while Jackie concentrates on the day to day of running a business.

We started engraving pet tags in 2004 using a second hand pantograph machine. The reason behind it was that, as dog lovers ourselves, we were unable to find anywhere locally to purchase tags at a reasonable price for our three dogs. After speaking with pet owners of our previous business, who encountered the same problem, we decided to launch a small part time local pet tag engraving business.

Things have moved on considerably since then. Both our engraving machines are now computerised, we run a trade stand at various dog shows during the Spring and Summer months and are turning out thousands of tags a year throughout the UK. Plus we now supply various other engraved items.

Over the last six years we have earned a reputation for selling quality products and good customer service. Our policy has always been to treat customers as we would expect to be treated as a customer ourself.
